Lázaro Cárdenas´s Port once again receives the largest container ship to arrive in Mexico
The ship is 399 meters long, 54 meters wide, has a draft of 14.5 meters, and has a capacity of 16,000 TEUs.
This ship, which is visiting the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas for the second time, has state-of-the-art technology due to its recent construction in 2015 at the Geoseong shipyard, South Korea.
The Panamanian-flagged vessel, categorized by its design and technology as state-of-the-art, arrived on June 2 at the Hutchison Ports LCT terminal, being serviced with 6 Super Post Panamax-type gantry cranes and made 2,574 movements.
From Lázaro Cárdenas they highlighted that they are the only terminal in Mexico that can receive this type of ship.
