Main Changes Brought by Version 3.0 of the Carta Porte Addendum
The Tax Administration Service (SAT) implemented version 3.0 of the Carta Porte Addendum (CCP) on April 1st, marking the end of coexistence between versions 2.0 and 3.0. These changes primarily affect the cargo transport and foreign trade sectors.
The new version of the CCP includes a section dedicated to customs documentation, allowing the registration of crucial information about customs documents associated with the transportation of foreign goods or merchandise through the national territory.
Additionally, fields such as “material type” and “customs regime” have been added, facilitating the registration of detailed information about the state of the material or product and the regime associated with the transportation of goods. Other added attributes include “Isthmus Decree” for transfers within the Development Poles of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and “Cofepris sector” to express the classification of the transported product.
The registration of “reverse logistics” for return transfers was also incorporated. Furthermore, the printed representation of the CFDI with CCP was adjusted to protect sensitive information, separating the voucher from the complement so that the carrier can carry the voucher without exposing sensitive information during inspections.
