Railways Declare Readiness for Carta Porte 3.0 Supplement
The implementation of the Complemento Carta Porte (CCP) version 3.0 is imminent, affecting railway companies operating in Mexico and North America.
Starting from April 1st, companies will be required to issue this complement in every digital invoice, involving detailed specification of the origin, intermediate points, and destination of the transported goods.
Although this update only adds eight new information fields, only two will be required from railway clients. Railway companies have had to make investments and modifications in their technological systems to comply with this regulation, requiring close collaboration among North American companies.
Despite efforts, some companies have not yet achieved full compliance with the new CCP version.
